This is my blog for my intro class. I will be commenting on random political things that I hear or see. Please feel free to question me or comment, I am learning just like the rest of you and I am sure there are many things I don't know yet.

Government Interest Rates and Budgets
This week I wanted to really understand how government interest rates are set and how our government sets the budget.
I chose to review Andrea Scott’s blog. The mission of this blog is clear. She states her mission at the top of her blog, “I will be commenting on random political things that I hear or see”. She also states that she is learning so if you have questions just ask her and that the blog was clearly done for this class. I like that the mission is so clear cut and out there for everyone who views the blog to see. I like the layout of this blog. It flows well and is fun to look at. I love that at the end of some of the posts she asks the views questions, I think that this is a good thing to do. It involves the viewer and gets them thinking. I did not think of doing that in mine and I think it is a good thing to do. I also like that not just the questions that were ask of us in class were answered. I like that she blogged about other issues, like the potential government shut down and what her views were on other topics. I also like that websites were included in the blog posts to reference and I loved the cartoon pictures as well. I think that the back ground color keeps the blog light and friendly. I really like what she has done with her blog a lot. I think that really not much is lacking in this blog. I think that there is not much to change or work on in my opinion. I would not say that she is just learning how to do this based on what I have seen. I guess the only thing I would say is that more of the questions that were ask in the class should have been addressed in the blog rather than just mostly current events. I do like that however, but just think it should have stayed more on class topic a little. Maybe just incorporate some with class topics. But I really liked it. I think that all in all this is a great blog. I love all of the graphics that were used, the video clips, the websites, just everything flowed so well. I loved the flow and the layout of the blog. I would not say that an amateur did this blog by looking at it. I really enjoyed reading the posts and loved that questions were ask of the viewer, as I stated before. I thought it was a thought provoking blog and very well done. I really enjoyed reading the posts and looking at all that she did.
