We can all Google and see that Barack Hussein Obama Jr. was said to be born in Hawaii but many people have doubts about this. It is a big deal because every president elected must be a natural born citizen of the United States under Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution.
This is a HUGE deal because he is already in office. Is he a fraud? Have we been deceived? Do we hold our Constitution valuable and care what is written? To be president you must be all of three things, you must be at least the age of 35, you must be a natural born citizen of the U.S. and you must be a resident of the United States for 14 years. Is Mr. Barack Obama able to be our president?
Barack's maternal grandmother claims that she was present in his birthing room, in Kenya. Not only his grandmother is making this claim, his half brother and half sister are also stating this. I looked into this a little more and I found that if he was in fact born in Hawaii he could have been born at two hospitals, in the Kapiolani Medical Center or the Queens Medical Center. The only problem with this I could not find any record. Someone is not telling the truth. Is it our trusted elected president, the DNC or his family? I also found the Kenyan Ambassador admits that Obama was also born in Kenya....want more........ Tim Addams, a college instructor that worked as a senior election clerk for the city and county of Honolulu back in 2008 also claims that no birth record from the hospital ever existed. He in fact had access to all private records and when this first came about back in 2008 he could not find any record himself linking Obama to being born in the state or anywhere else in the United States.
Phillip J. Berg, an attorney filed a federal law suit against the president back in august of 2008. Since then our president’s records have been sealed. Moreover, judges have ruled that no one has the right to bring suit against the Constitution. Why is it that he does not have to show the proof of his qualifications? In my quest I found some information I feel is very reliable and unbiased throughout his official webpage, www.philjburg.com. Something I found interesting was in fact that our president has many names, when living in Indonesia he was registered in school under the name Barry Soetoro. WOW! In addition He stated that Obama has spent over 1.6 million dollars fighting these law suits, wouldn’t it be easier and cheaper just to show your birth certificate?
There is a article in the Denver Post stating that law makers in Hawaii want to pass a bill that would make his birth records public so that there will be no more question on if he was born in the United States.
I question this bill only because if we are able to access birth records my birth record can also be accessed in the future. There must be a line into our private lives. They should change the law that if you are running for president you should have to show records before being elected not the other way around. It is also my opinion that it is too late to find out the truth, I am sure that documents have already been made to prove the fact that he was born in Hawaii if he wasn't really born there in the first place.

ReplyDeleteIn looking at this blog I think the overall vision of it is very clear that the writer is passionate about the posts that she puts on the page. It also is a very organized blog.
I see a lot of strengths in the blog. I like that there is a post about a topic that she picked on her own. This shows that she is passionate in what she is writing about. I really enjoyed the article she wrote about can the president really be the president. It gives readers a lot to think about. I really like the political cartoon I think it goes along a lot with what we are learning about our government. I like the way she introduced herself and was honest about being new to everything. I also like the way that the blog is laid out.
The only thing I can think about to improve on this blog are just to have more posts that are questions, that way people who are following the blog can respond to it and you can get their opinions about what they think. It will give you an inside to who your followers are and what their views are.
Overall I think this is a great blog. It doesn’t have really anything to be changed on it and it has great posts. This is a blog that throughout the semester I will be following because I find it very interesting. The one article really captured my attention and interest.
